Week 11 USPHL 2025-26 Pacific Division Recap

The 2025-26 USPHL regular season for the Pacific Division continued to deliver another set of thrilling wins and tough losses. Read about the exciting wins and fun highlights from the games during November 28-30, 2025!


Ventura Vikings Two-Game Series 

The Ventura Vikings faced the Long Beach Bombers and Ontario Jr. Reign in a two-game series during the week of Thanksgiving. This series started with a game against the Long Beach Bombers on Friday, November 28, 2025 and ended on Saturday, November 29, 2025 against the Ontario Jr. Reign. An intense first period in Game 1 of this series ended with a tied standstill, 1-1, when Bombers’ #11 Marcus Vargas answered back to #6 Ethan Yang’s opening goal for the Vikings. It wasn’t until the second period when the Vikings were able to gain a two-goal lead in the beginning half of the period with goals scored by #10 Nicholas Mardani (3-1). The Bombers were able to make it a one-goal game when #88 Troy Smith scored a goal with fifty-five seconds remaining in the second period (3-2). This goal by the Bombers did not hinder the Vikings’ momentum as they were able to close out this matchup with a final score of 5-2 when #47 Reese Tittle (1PPG) and #14 Dominick Ybarra (1G) both put up a goal before the end of regulation. In regards to goaltending, #31 Aiden Biswanger secured the Vikings’ win after he saved 23 out of 25 shots on goal while Bombers’ #32 Ethan Sellwood-Fernald saved 29 out of 34 shots on goal. After a thrilling win in Game 1 of this series, the Ventura Vikings have ended their three-game losing streak and extended the Long Beach Bombers’ streak to a five-game losing streak. 


The Jr. Reign maintained control over all three periods of Game 2 as they maintained a 5-0 lead until the latter half of the third period. This goal scoring momentum started when #22 Samuel Delaquis opened the game, 1-0, with a goal scored sixteen seconds into the first period. The Vikings’ struggles to get on the board continued into the second period as the Jr. Reign extended their lead with three-goals scored by #9 Christian Yi (2G) and #22 Samuel Delaquis (1G) which made it a 4-0 game going into the last period of regulation. The last Jr. Reign goal was scored by #48 Marc Belanger which gave them a five-goal lead until Vikings’ #10 Mardani scored two unanswered goals during the latter half of the period (5-2). Despite making a commendable effort, the Vikings fell short as the Jr. Reign’s goaltender, #33 Domenik Mclnenly, secured their 5-2 win after saving 33 out of 35 shots on goal. With another win recorded, the Ontario Jr. Reign continued onto a five-game winning streak after they ended the Ventura Vikings’ one-game winning streak in this matchup


Long Beach Bombers Three-Game Series

The Long Beach Bombers faced the Ventura Vikings, San Diego Sabers, and Ontario Jr. Reign in a three-game series during the week of Thanksgiving. This series started with a game at Lakewood Ice against the Ventura Vikings on Friday, November 28, 2025. The Long Beach Bombers continued this series on home ice for Game 2 against the San Diego Sabers on Saturday, November 29, 2025. This series ended at the Ontario Center Ice Arena against the Ontario Jr. Reign on Sunday, November 30, 2025. After another loss, the Long Beach Bombers found themselves with a five-game losing streak going into Game 2 of this series.


Hungry for a win against the Sabers, the Bombers were able to muster a 2-1 lead by the end of the first period with two goals scored by Bombers’ #55 Roman Adomitis and a Sabers goal scored by #51 Dean Johnson. The Bombers’ momentum continued into the second period with four unanswered goals scored by #14 Jackson Litzinger (1G, 1PPG), #7 Daniel Mueller (1G), and #65 Michael Savic (1G) which gave them a 6-1 lead going into the last period of regulation. Although the Sabers made a commendable effort to cut their goal deficit with a successful power play goal scored by #94 Sam Bailey (6-2), their last push was not enough to offset the Bombers’ lead which was extended when #71 Corbin Breen scored a goal midway through the period (7-2). In the end, #72 Ethan Fitzgerald secured the Bombers’ 7-2 win against the Sabers after he saved 40 out of 42 shots on goal. The Long Beach Bombers ended their five-game losing streak and secured their first win against the San Diego Sabers after this triumphant victory. On the other hand, the San Diego Sabers found themselves going into their next matchup with a three-game losing streak. 


The Bombers’ struggles against the Jr. Reign continued as they had a two-goal deficit going into the second period of this series. The Jr. Reign maintained control over the first period with two unanswered goals scored by #15 Walker Chitwood (1G) and #14 Jared Padilla (1G) within thirty seconds of one another (2-0). They then extended their lead, 3-0, with a goal scored twenty seconds into the second period by #17 Evan Tsadilas. The Bombers were able to muster their first goal of this matchup with a goal scored by #61 Steven Anderson (3-1). Unfortunately for the Bombers, the Jr. Reign were able to regain their three-goal lead with another goal scored by #15 Chitwood (4-1) and extended their lead, 5-1, when #48 Marc Belanger closed the second period. Despite making a commendable effort during the last period of regulation with a Bombers power play goal scored by #11 Vargas, the team’s efforts were not enough to hinder the Jr. Reign’s momentum which resulted in them closing out this game with a final score of 8-2. The three Jr. Reign goals scored during the third period were secured by #48 Marc Belanger who also recorded his second hat-trick of the 2025-26 regular season. In regards to goaltending, #29 Nicholas Perry was in net for the Jr. Reign and saved 14 out of 16 shots on goal while Bombers’ #72 Fitzgerald saved 35 out of 43 shots on goal. After another dominant performance, the Ontario Jr. Reign are now on a six-game winning streak after ending the Long Beach Bombers’ one-game winning streak. 


Overall, Week 11 of the 2025-26 USPHL Pacific Division was full of exciting outcomes and high-scoring wins. Some memorable moments from this past week included multiple winning/losing streaks being extended and a hat-trick being recorded. There was 1 hat-trick recorded during week 11 of the regular season which was secured by Ontario Jr. Reign’s #48 Marc Belanger. Looking ahead, we have a few three-game series scheduled in week 12 of the regular season.
