The Minnesota Frost will travel to Place Bell where they will face the Montréal Victoire for Game 1 and Game 2 of this series which is scheduled to take place on May 2, 2026 and May 5, 2026. The teams will then travel to the Minnesota Frost’s home ice at Grand Casino Arena for Game 3 in this series with dates and times to be determined. If necessary, Game 4 will be played at Grand Casino Arena and Game 5 will be played at Place Bell with dates and times to be determined.


The Montréal Victoire secured the first seed in the standings after they ended the regular season with 62 points and a season record of 16-6-2-6. Out of their 16 wins, the Montréal Victoire secured seven shutouts, six overtime wins, and two shootout wins. The team’s points leaders were #11 Abby Roque (8G, 14A) and #7 Laura Stacey (7G, 15A) who had 22 points recorded by the end of the regular season. #29 C. Marie-Philip Poulin (9G) led the team with the most goals scored and #61 Nicole Gosling (16A) led the team with the most assists recorded by the end of the regular season.  


The Minnesota Frost secured the third seed in the standings after they ended the regular season with 46 points and a season record of 13-3-5-9. Out of their 13 wins, the Minnesota Frost secured two shutouts, and three overtime wins. The team’s points and goals leader was #12 Kelly Pannek (16G, 17A) who had 33 points recorded by the end of the regular season. #77 Britta Curl-Salemme (18A) led the team with the most assists recorded by the end of the regular season.


When these teams faced one another during the 2025-26 PWHL regular season, the Montréal Victoire won all four games against the Minnesota Frost which included back-to-back overtime wins on January 4, 2026 and January 21, 2026 as well as back-to-back shutout victories secured on March 1, 2026 and March 25, 2026. This regular season sweep by the Montréal Victoire was made possible after they outscored (12G vs. 3G) and outshot the Minnesota Frost (125 SOG vs. 83 SOG). In regards to special teams, both teams ended with a 0% power play success rate and a 100% penalty kill success rate against one another. 


Despite having the upper hand during the regular season, we can expect a hard-fought battle between both teams as they are eager to advance to the finals. It is certain that the Montréal Victoire will go into the matchups with confidence and momentum from their previous successes against the Minnesota Frost. Another certainty is that the Minnesota Frost will not go down without a fight as they are determined to redeem themselves from their regular season losses against the Montréal Victoire.
