The 2025-26 regular season continued to deliver jaw dropping games which ended with hard-fought wins and tough losing streaks being extended after a series of week 7 matchups. Looking into week 8, we can expect even more chaos with a weekend full of three-game series. Read more about what you need to know for the upcoming games during the week of November 7-9, 2025!


San Diego Sabers Three-Game Series

The San Diego Sabers are scheduled for a three-game series on home ice at Ice Realm Carlsbad  which will start on Friday, November 7, 2025 and end after their game on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The San Diego Sabers will face the Ontario Jr. Reign in Game 1 on Friday, November 7, 2025 before facing the Ventura Vikings on Saturday, November 1, 2025. They will then close out the series against the Long Beach Bombers on Sunday, November 2, 2025. 


The San Diego Sabers are currently in 7th place with 4 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 2-15-0. The team’s points leaders are #23 Payton Hauge (7G, 7A) and #24 Sammy Albano (7G, 7A) who both have 14 points recorded so far in this 2025-26 regular season.

The Long Beach Bombers are currently in 6th place with 9 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 4-12-1. The team’s points leader is #14 Jackson Litzinger (6G, 6A) who has 12 points recorded so far during this regular season.


Looking at the previous seven games between the San Diego Sabers vs. Ventura Vikings, the San Diego Sabers lost six out of the seven games that they played against one another. The Ventura Vikings have outscored (35G vs. 17G), outshot (254 SOG vs. 177 SOG), and have found more success on the power play (28.2% vs. 3.13%) and on the penalty kill (92.6% vs. 71.8%).

They will then face the Ontario Jr. Reign on home ice at Lakewood Ice on Saturday, November 1, 2025 and later conclude this series on Sunday, November 2, 2025 in a game against the San Diego Sabers at Ice Realm Carlsbad.

These teams will play in a three-game series which will start on Friday, November 7, 2025 and end after their game on Sunday, November 9, 2025.


Henderson Force are currently in 1st place with 24 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 11-2-1-1. The team’s points leaders are #77 Riku Permi (10G, 14A) who has 24 points and #24 Nikodem Wroblewski (9G, 14A) who has 23 points recorded so far in this 2025-26 regular season. 


The Lake Tahoe Lakers are currently in 5th place with 9 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 4-10-1. The team’s points leaders are  #15 Carver Alford (5G, 9A) and #14 Leo Matthew Duggan IV (9G, 5A) who both have 14 points recorded in this season.

The Fresno Monsters will travel to Western Park Arena where they will face the Vernal Oilers for the first time during the 2025-26 regular season. These teams will play in a three-game series which will start on Friday, November 7, 2025 and end after their game on Sunday, November 9, 2025.


The Fresno Monsters are currently in 3rd place with 18 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 9-0-0. The team’s points leaders are #21 Brian Erte (8G, 20A) who has 28 points recorded and #20 Vertti Sakko (13G, 11A) who has 24 points recorded so far in this 2025-26 regular season.


The Vernal Oilers are currently in 1st place with 26 points in the Northwest division and have a season record of 13-0-0. The team’s points leaders are #19 Jack Tidsbury (13G, 14A) and 28 Logan Powers (11G, 16A) who both have 27 points recorded so far in this 2025-26 regular season.


Going into this matchup, the Fresno Monsters have a 27.7% powerplay success rate which is slightly lower compared to the Vernal Oilers 32.2% powerplay success rate. The Vernal Oilers currently have a 95% penalty kill success rate which is higher than the Fresno Monsters’ 92% penalty kill success rate. 


Both the Fresno Monsters and Vernal Oilers have remained undefeated so far during this 2025-26 regular season which will make this week’s matchup even more intense. The Fresno Monsters will be entering this three-game series with a hunger to extend their dominant nine-game winning streak while the Vernal Oilers extend their astonishing thirteen-game winning streak.
