The Vernal Oilers will travel to Gateway Ice Center where they will face the Fresno Monsters for the last time in the 2025-26 regular season. These teams will play in a three-game series which will start on Friday, February 13, 2026 and end after their matchup on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
The Fresno Monsters are currently in 2nd place with 63 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 31-5-1-0. The team’s points leader is #20 Vertti Sakko (31G, 43A) who has 74 points recorded so far in this 2025-26 regular season. The Fresno Monsters are on a four-game winning streak which started on January 31, 2026.
The Vernal Oilers are currently in 1st place with 33 points in the Northwest division and have a season record of 37-1-0-0. The team’s points leader is #28 Logan Powers (29G, 38A) who has 67 points recorded so far during this regular season with the Vernal Oilers. In regards to winning/losing streaks, the Vernal Oilers are currently on a twenty-two-game winning streak which started on November 21, 2025.
The Vernal Oilers have won two out of three games against the Fresno Monsters during their previous matchups in the 2025-26 regular season. In their previous victories, the Vernal Oilers outscored (13G vs. 10G) the Fresno Monsters despite being outshot (106 SOG vs. 83 SOG). Although they faced hardships, the Fresno Monster found more success with their special teams as they had a higher power play success rate (25.0% vs. 12.5%) and penalty kill success rate (87.5% vs. 75.0%).
After a few close games, the Fresno Monsters will be entering this matchup with vengeance in order to recreate the intensity they had during their win on November 9, 2025. On the other hand, the Vernal Oilers go in with determination to keep their twenty-two-game winning streak alive.

The Ontario Jr. Reign will travel to South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena where they will face the Lake Tahoe Lakers for the last time in the 2025-26 regular season. These teams will play in a three-game series which will start on Friday, February 13, 2026 and end after their matchup on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
The Ontario Jr. Reign are currently in 3rd place with 58 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 28-9-2-0. The team’s points leaders are #77 Marc Belanger (23G, 36A) who has 59 points recorded this season. In regards to winning/losing streaks, the Ontario Jr. Reign are on a five-game winning streak which started on January 30, 2026.
The Lake Tahoe Lakers are currently in 7th place with 19 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 9-26-1-0. The team’s points leader is #14 Leo Matthew Duggan IV (20G, 18A) who has 38 points recorded in this season. The Lake Tahoe Lakers are on a one-game losing streak after their loss to the Long Beach Bombers on February 1, 2026.
When looking at the previous three games played against one another, the Ontario Jr. Reign swept the Lake Tahoe Lakers, 3-0. The Ontario Jr. Reign’s victories were made possible after outscoring (27G vs. 3G) and outshooting (124 SOG vs. 81 SOG) the Lake Tahoe Lakers. When looking at special teams, the Ontario Jr. Reign also had the advantage when it came to their power play success rate (36.8% vs. 5,26%( and their penalty kill success rate (94.7% vs. 63.2%).
When comparing the stats, we can expect the Ontario Jr. Reign to dominate this series like they have in the past. However, we may see the Lake Tahoe Lakers playing with vengeance as they are eager to gain their first win against the Ontario Jr. Reign during this 2025-26 regular season.
