The 2025-26 regular season continued to deliver exciting games which ended with shocking wins and rough losing streaks being extended after a series of week 12 matchups. Looking into week 13, we can expect even more exciting outcomes with a one-game and two-game series schedule. Ontario Jr. Reign vs. San Diego Sabers One-Game Series

The San Diego Sabers will travel to the Ontario Center Ice Arena to face the Ontario Jr. Reign in a game which will occur on Friday, December 12, 2025. This will be the seventh time that these two teams will play against one another this season.


The San Diego Sabers are currently in 5th place with 16 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 8-19-0. The team’s points leader is #94 Sam Bailey (10G, 21A) who has 31 points recorded so far in this 2025-26 regular season.


The Ontario Jr. Reign are currently in 2nd place with 34 points in the Pacific division and have a season record of 17-5-0. The team’s points leaders is #77 Marc Belanger (14G, 25A) who has 39 points recorded this season.


Looking at the previous five games between the San Diego Sabers vs. Ontario Jr. Reign  during the 2025-26 regular season, the Ontario Jr. Reign have outscored (32G vs. 15G) and outshot (218 SOG vs. 172 SOG). The Ontario Jr. Reign also found more success on the power play (34.5% vs. 9.09%) and on the penalty kill (88.9% vs. 68.0%).


When looking at the matchups ahead, we can expect the Ontario Jr. Reign to have the upperhand as they have had in the past unless the San Diego Sabers are able to muster another win like they did on November 7, 2025.

The Ventura Vikings have a two-game series scheduled on home ice at Iceoplex Simi Valley during week 13 of the regular season. This series will start on Friday, December 12, 2025 against the Long Beach Bombers and end after their game against the San Diego Sabers on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
