The Ontario Jr. Reign will travel to the America First Center NHL where they will face Henderson Force in round one of the 2026 Premier Playoffs. This series will start on Thursday, March 5, 2026 and is scheduled to end after their game on Saturday, March 7, 2025 at 7:00 PM PST if necessary. 


The Ontario Jr. Reign ended the regular season in 3rd place with 72 points in the Pacific division and a season record of 35-9-2-0. The team’s points and assists leader was #77 Marc Belanger (28G, 39A) who had 67 points recorded by the end of the regular season. #22 Samuel Delaquis led the team with 32 goals secured by the end of the season.  


Henderson Force ended the regular season in 2nd place with 74 points in the Pacific division and had a season record of 36-8-1-1. The team’s points and goals leader was #26 Reese Hicks (33G, 33A) who had 66 points recorded in the regular season. #55 Loui Lundahl led the team with the most assists recorded by the end of this season with 34 assists secured.


Going into this matchup, the Ontario Jr. Reign ended the regular season with a 26.3% powerplay success rate which is significantly lower compared to Henderson Force’s 34.3% powerplay success rate. Henderson Force ended the regular season with an 84.0% penalty kill success rate which is slightly lower than the Ontario Jr. Reign’s 87.0% penalty kill success rate. During their previous four games played against one another during the regular season, Henderson Force won three out of the four games against the Ontario Jr. Reign (3-1). When looking at the overall stats of their previous games, it was evident that Henderson Force had the upper hand when it came to goals scored (18G vs. 11G) despite being outshot by the Ontario Jr. Reign (170 SOG vs. 157 SOG). Henderson Force also had a slight advantage when it came to their power play success rate (25.0 PP% vs. 21.1 PP%) and penalty kill success rate (78.9 PK% vs. 75.0 PK%). 


It is to be expected that Henderson Force will enter this series with confidence from their previous successes against the Ontario Jr. Reign. However, we can also expect the Ontario Jr. Reign to not go down without a fight as they utilize the momentum from their twelve-game winning streak which was maintained until the end of the 2025-26 regular season.
