Henderson Force's 2024-2025 Regular Season Recap

Henderson Force’s consistency and determination to stay in the race during the regular season puts the team in fourth place of the USPHL Pacific Division standings with 60 points and a season record of 29-15-1-1. Their 29 wins consisted of two shutouts and three double-digit wins. Henderson Force’s longest winning streak was a six-game winning streak which started during the week of Oct. 31- Nov. 3, 2024 and ended during the week of  Nov. 15-17, 2024 after Henderson Force played a game against the San Diego Sabers. 


PP & PK Success Rate and Top Scorers

Henderson Force ended the regular season with an 18.72% power play success rate and a solid 83.21% penalty killing rate. Their top scorers were #37 Shane Dean who had 53 points (23 G, 30 A) and #28 Reese Hicks who had 51 points (27 G, 24 A) recorded in the regular season.

Goaltending 

In regards to goaltending, Henderson Force had 5 active goaltenders during the regular season. The five active goaltenders’ stats which include: Doron Coldwell’s 1 win and 0.957 SV% against Iron County Yeti; Michael Burgos’ 3 wins out of 6 games played and 0.935 SV% when playing with Henderson Force; Nicholas Perry’s 15 wins out of 26 games and a 0.920 SV%; Jacob Brumm securing 5 wins out of 9 games and a 0.909 SV%; and Jacob Kaput securing 5 wins in 6 games played and a 0.905 SV%. 


Against the rest of the Pacific Division:  

  • HNF vs FRM

    • FRM has won all three games against HNF during the regular season (3-0). FRM outscored (14 G vs. 3 G) and outshot (101 SOG vs. 65 SOG) HNF. Both struggled on the power play when playing against one another, however, FRM did have one successful power play attempt while HNF had none. 

  • HNF vs. LBB

    • HNF won all six games against LBB during the regular season (6-0). HNF swept LBB by outscoring (26 G vs. 6 G), maintaining puck possession (299 SOG vs. 183 SOG), and remaining solid on their power play success rate (33.3% PP vs. 0% PP). 

  • HNF vs. OJR

    • HNF won one out of six games against OJR during the regular season. HNF struggled to maintain puck possession (158 SOG vs. 220 SOG), were unable to score on their power play opportunities (0% vs. 22.2%), and were outscored by OJR (8 G vs. 22 G).

  • HNF vs. SDS

    • HNF won four out of six games against SDS during the regular season (4-2). HNF had the advantage over puck possession (216 SOG vs. 207 SOG) and overall goals scored (26 G vs. 21 G). SDS did find more success on the power play compared to HNF (57.1% PP vs. 38.5% PP). 

  • HNF vs. LTL

    • HNF won two out of six games against LTL during the regular season (2-4). HNF struggled with puck possession (221 SOG vs. 272 SOG) and goal scoring (19 G vs. 25 G) when playing against LTL. However, both teams were relatively similar in regards to successful power play opportunities (18.2% PP vs. 17.4% PP) which displayed how both teams were consistent on their penalty killing against one another.

  • HNF vs. VNV

    • HNF mostly maintained control when playing against VNV during the regular season as they won four out of the six games they had scheduled (4-2). During these games, HNF led VNV in goals scored (27 G vs. 17 G), shots on goal (226 SOG vs. 167 SOG) and were more successful on their power play opportunities (19.4% PP vs. 13.3% PP).   

  • HNF vs. BKR 

    • HNF swept BKR during the regular season (3-0) and had the upper hand when it came to total goals scored (20 G vs. 7 G) and power play success rate (21.4% PP vs. 8.33% PP). These two teams were relatively similar in regards to having puck possession throughout these three games, however, HNF has an advantage over BKR (91 SOG vs. 89 SOG).


Henderson Force's resilience and strong performance during the last half of the regular season helped them to clinch the fourth place in the Pacific Division. They will face the Fresno Monsters in the Premier Playoffs 2025 which may be an uphill battle to climb but one that will not go down without a fight. Henderson Force's sheer determination will be their driving force in their upcoming series against the Monsters.
