DAY 3 of the 2024-2025 USPHL Las Vegas Showcase (Pacific Division) Game Recap!

Day 3 of the 2024-2025 USPHL Las Vegas Showcase (Pacific Division) was full of very close games, a double digit win for the Lake Tahoe Lakers and a 9-0 shutout for the Ontario Jr. Reign. Read more about how the day went down for the Pacific Division teams!


Thursday, December 19, 2024

Game 2 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Seattle Totems 1, San Diego Sabers 0

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a 1-0 shutout for the Seattle Totems at America First Center Rink 1. 

  • GOALTENDING: Daniel Cleofe able to secure the win for the Seattle Totems after saving all 29 shots on goal that he faced during this game. Viktor Pasztor was in net for the San Diego Sabers and saved a total of 41 out of 42 shots on goal. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Seattle Totems’ Aatu Suontakanen scored the game winning goal during the third period of this game. 


Game 2 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Henderson Force 3, Metro Jets 2

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a regulation win for Henderson Force (3-2) at America First Center Rink 1. 

  • GOALTENDING: Nicholas Perry able to secure the win for Henderson Force after saving 35 out of 37 shots on goal. Austin Muirhead was in net for the Metro Jets and saved a total of 16 out of 19 shots on goal. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Henderson Force’s Christopher Bruder scored the game winning goal during the third period of this game. 


Game 2 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Fresno Monsters 5, Fort Wayne Spacemen 2

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a regulation win for the Fresno Monsters (4-2) at America First Center Rink 1. 

  • GOALTENDING: Brooks Barofsky able to secure the win for the Fresno Monsters after saving 26 out of 28 shots on goal. Christopher Gingras was in net for the Fort Wayne Spacemen and saved a total of 21 out of 26 shots on goal. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Fresno Monsters’ Filipp Papshev scored the power play game winning goal towards the end of the second period and Connor Perdue scored the insurance goal early in the third period. 


Game 2 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Ontario Jr. Reign 9, Bremerton Sockeyes 0

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a 9-0 shutout victory for the Ontario Jr. Reign at America First Center Rink 2. 

  • GOALTENDING: Nikolas Charles able to secure the win for the Ontario Jr. Reign after saving all 7 shots on goal that he faced during this game. Jaden Salado was initially in net for the Bremerton Sockeyes and saved a total of 39 out of 45 shots on goal up until the beginning of the third period. Ryder Selbee took over for Salado and saved a total of 13 out of 16 shots on goal by the end of the game. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Ontario Jr. Reign’s Christopher Lai scored the game winning goal and Denver Craig scored the insurance goal which were both short handed goals during the first period of this game. 

  • HAT-TRICKS: Ontario Jr. Reign’s Denver Craig recorded his third hat-trick of the 2024-2025 regular season by the end of this game. 


Game 3 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Ventura Vikings 7, Columbus Mavericks 5

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a regulation win for the Ventura Vikings (7-5) at America First Center Rink 2. 

  • GOALTENDING: Ethan Sellwood able to secure the win for the Ventura Vikings after saving 34 out of 39 shots on goal.Charlie Fuller started out in net for the Columbus Mavericks and saved a total of 10 out of 16 shots on goal before Robert Cook took over during the latter half of the second period. Robert Cook saved a total of 7 out of 8 shots on goal by the end of the game. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Ventura Vikings’ Ryan Gill scored the game winning goal and Cameron Cote scored the insurance goal. 

  • HAT-TRICKS: Ventura Vikings’ Cameron Cote recorded his second hat-trick of the 2024-2025 regular season during this game which included two power play goals. 


Game 3 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Bakersfield Roughnecks 4, Iron County Yeti 2

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a regulation win for the Bakersfield Roughnecks (4-2) at America First Center Rink 2. 

  • GOALTENDING: Max Sutton started out in net for the Bakersfield Roughnecks and saved all 8 shots on goal before Jakob Barcelona took over midway through the second period of the game. Barcelona was able to secure the win for the Bakersfield Roughnecks after saving 14 out of 16 shots on goal. Mason Bouchard was in net for the Iron County Yeti and saved a total of 42 out of 46 shots on goal by the end of this game. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Bakersfield Roughnecks’ Renaud Vezina scored the game winning goal late in the second period and Adrian Gomez scored the insurance goal during the third period of the game. 


Game 3 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Long Beach Bombers 4, Columbus Mavericks 3

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a regulation win for the Long Beach Bombers (4-3) at America First Center Rink 1. 

  • GOALTENDING: Ludovic Dagenais able to secure the win for the Long Beach Bombers after saving 29 out of 32 shots on goal. Robert Cook was in net for the Columbus Mavericks and saved a total of 25 out of 29 shots on goal by the end of this game. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Long Beach Bombers’ Samuel Ingram scored the power play game winning goal during the second period. 

  • HAT-TRICKS: Long Beach Bombers’ Jeremy Loosmore recorded his first hat-trick of the 2024-2025 regular season. 


Game 3 | Thursday, December 19, 2024 | Lake Tahoe Lakers 10, Colorado Fighting Elk 2

  • FINAL SCORE: This game ended with a double digits triumphant regulation victory for the Lake Tahoe Lakers (10-2) at America First Center Rink 2. 

  • GOALTENDING: Liam Freel started out in net and saved a total of 15 out of 17 shots on goal before Wyatt Osio took and saved all 4 shots on goal during the last five minutes of the game for the Long Beach Bombers. The duo were able to secure the win for the Lake Tahoe Lakers after collectively saving 19 out of 21 shots on goal. Jadon Henry was in net for the  Colorado Fighting Elk and saved a total of 45 out of 55 shots on goal. 

  • GAME WINNING GOAL: Long Beach Bombers’ Zander Badger scored the game winning goal and Scott McNulty scored the insurance goal during the second period of the game. 

  • HAT-TRICKS: Long Beach Bombers’ Scott McNulty recorded his third hat-trick of the 2024-2025 regular season.
