The Boston Fleet were the first to clinch a 2026 PWHL Walter Cup Playoffs position after their 4-2 regulation win against the Minnesota Frost on March 29, 2026. Their dominant presence on the ice during the regular season helped them to end the regular season with 62 points and a season record of 16-5-4-5. Out of their 16 wins, the Fleet secured seven shutouts, five overtime wins, and three shootout wins. This team's regular season started with a five-game winning streak and ended with a 4-0 shutout victory against the New York Sirens on April 25, 2026. The Fleet’s longest winning streak was their six-game winning streak which began on January 14, 2026 and ended on March 11, 2026. Boston Fleet (BOS) vs. Montréal Victoire (MTL)
BOS won two out of four games played against MTL during the regular season which included one shutout and one overtime win (2-2). During the four regular season games, BOS outscored MTL (8G vs. 7G) despite MTL having a slight advantage when it came to puck possession (105 SOG vs. 102 SOG). In regards to special teams, BOS struggled against MTL’s successful power play (42.9 PP% vs. 7.69 PP%) and penalty kill units (92.3 PK% vs. 57.1 PK%).
Boston Fleet (BOS) vs. Toronto Sceptres (TOR)
BOS won three out of four games against TOR when they faced one another in the regular season which included one shutout win (3-1). During those four games, BOS outscored TOR (9G vs. 4G) despite TOR having the advantage when it came to maintaining puck possession (95 SOG vs. 82 SOG). In regards to special teams, both BOS and TOR ended with a 0% power play success rate and a 100% penalty kill success rate.

BOS won four out of five games played against VAN during the regular season which included two shutout victories and one overtime win (4-1). BOS won four out of five games played against BOS which included one shootout and one shutout win. During those five games, BOS outscored (12G vs. 6G) and outshot SEA (142 SOG vs. 137 SOG). BOS also found more success with their special teams as they ended with a higher power play (18.8% vs. 0.00%) and an undefeated penalty kill success rate (100 PK% vs. 91.3 PK%).

BOS won one out of four games played against OTT during the regular season which included one shootout win (1-3). The Boston Fleet had an impressive 2025-26 regular season which secured their spot in the playoffs. This team does have some gritty competition in the playoffs as they are scheduled to take on the Ottawa Charge in the 2026 PWHL Playoffs. Despite their struggles against the Ottawa Charge during the regular season, we can expect a hard-fought battle between both teams as they are fueled by sheer determination to advance into the finals.
