Official 2024-2025 NHL Pacific Division Standings

After a long season of battling to secure their spot in the standings, the teams in the Pacific Division who have clinched a spot in the 2024-2025 Playoffs have been finalized after the 2024-2025 NHL regular season has come to an end.


The finalized Pacific Division standings as of April 18, 2025: 

  1. Vegas Golden Knights (110 points, 50-22-9) Clinched Playoff Position and Pacific Division  

  2. LA Kings (105 points, 48-24-9) Clinched Playoff Position 

  3. Edmonton Oilers (101 points, 48-29-5) Clinched Playoff Position  

  4. Calgary Flames (96 points, 41-27-14) 

  5. Vancouver Canucks (90 points, 38-30-14)

  6. Anaheim Ducks (80 points, 35-37-10)

  7. Seattle Kraken (76 points, 35-41-6) 

  8. San Jose Sharks (52 points, 20-50-12)


Unfortunately, the San Jose Sharks, Seattle Kraken, Anaheim Ducks, and Vancouver Canucks were unable to secure a spot in the playoffs. The Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues, and Calgary Flames fought hard during their uphill battle against one another for the wildcard spot in the Western Conference standings, however, the Central Division teams were able to secure their spots in the playoffs with a win in their last games of the season.  


The Vegas Golden Knights were the first team in the Pacific Division to clinch a playoff spot after the Calgary Flames lost 3-1 against the Utah Hockey Club on April 1, 2025. They were also the team who clinched the Pacific Division after their 5-3 win against the Nashville Predators on April 12, 2025. At the time of clinching their playoff spot, they had 98 points and a season record of 45-20-8. The Golden Knights ended the regular season with the following stats: 110 points, a 50-22-9 season record, a 29.12 PP%, 76.51 PK%, and 6 shutouts recorded. #9 Jack Eichel led the Golden Knights with the most points and assists recorded by the end of the regular season as he ended with 94 points total (28G, 66A). #16 Pavel Dorofeyev led the Golden Knights with the most goals scored by the end of the regular season with 35 goals recorded. The Golden Knights' star goaltender was #33 Aiden Hill who ended the regular season with a record of 32-13-5, a 2.47 GAA, 0.906 SV%, and 4 shutouts.


The LA Kings were the second team in the Pacific Division to clinch their spot in the playoffs after their 3-0 shutout victory against the Edmonton Oilers on April 5, 2025. At the time of clinching their playoff spot, they had 97 points and a season record of 44-23-9. The Kings ended the regular season with the following stats: 105 points, a 48-25-9 season record, a 17.87 PP%, an 81.43 PK%, and 5 shutouts recorded. #9 Adrian Kempe led the Kings with the most points and goals recorded by the end of the regular season as he ended with 73 points total (35G, 38A). #11 C. Anze Kopitar led the Kings with the most assists by the end of the regular season with 46 assists recorded. In regards to goaltending, #35 Darcy Kuemper led the Kings and ended the regular season with a 31-11-7 record, a 2.02 GAA, a 0.922 SV%, and 5 shutouts.


The Edmonton Oilers were the last team in the Pacific Division to clinch their spot in the playoffs after their 4-2 win against the San Jose Sharks on April 11, 2025. At the time of clinching their playoff spot, they had 97 points and a season record of 46-28-5. The Oilers ended the regular season with the following stats: 101 points, a 48-29-5 season record, a 24.76 PP%, a 78.35 PK%, and 3 shutouts. #29 Leon Draisaitl led the team with the most points and goals scored by the end of the regular season as he recorded 106 points (52G, 54A). #97 Connor McDavid led the team with the most assists recorded as he ended with 74 assists. In regards to goaltending, #74 Stuart Skinner made up the first half of the Oilers’ goaltending tandem and ended the regular season with a 26-18-4 record, a 2.81 GAA, a 0.896 SV%, and 3 shutouts. #30 Calvin Pickard made up the second half of the tandem and ended the regular season with a 22-10-1 season record, a 2.71 GAA, and a 0.900 SV%. 


No teams from the Pacific Division were able to secure a Western Division wildcard spot in the playoffs.
